Computerized Load Management System
The CLMS (Computerized Load Management System) panel continuously monitors the total power consumption of an industrial or commercial facility from the utility grid. When the total demand approaches a preset ceiling, the controller automatically sheds non-critical loads to keep the facility within its sanctioned limit.
As the load demand reduces, the controller restores the shed loads in a predefined priority sequence, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. This automated cycle prevents peak-demand penalties from the utility provider and optimizes energy usage across the facility.
The system supports time-based scheduling, allowing facility managers to define load profiles for different shifts, seasons, or production modes. All events are logged with timestamps for post-analysis and reporting.
Key Features:
- Real-time total grid consumption monitoring
- Auto shed / restore of predefined load groups
- Priority-based load scheduling and sequencing
- Time-based load management and peak shaving
- Remote SCADA / telemetry data integration
- Overload alarm and event logging with timestamp
